Outreach

Outreach is the extension of grace, invitation, and love with the hope that others will come to experience God's amazing love through us. It is about building relationships, telling our stories, sharing the good news, and discovering how God is already at work in the hearts, minds, and lives of those we meet.

Outreach is one of the five ministry areas through which Laingsburg United Methodist Church lives out its mission, alongside worship, service, fellowship and discovery. For us, outreach is less about programs and more about people. It happens over coffee downtown, at a table of Halloween candy, beside a child practicing reading, and in countless everyday conversations.

How You Can Get Involved

• Invite a friend. A personal invitation is still the most common way people find a church home. Share our I'm New Here page with someone who is curious.
• Volunteer at an event. Trunk-or-Treat, Messy Church and Tuesday Tutoring all depend on volunteers.
• Pray for our neighbors. Ask God to show you who in your life needs a word of encouragement.
• Stay informed. Upcoming events are posted on our home page, our Facebook page and in the LUMinary newsletter.
