Fellowship

Drawing one another together to build new relationships and strengthen old ones.

"The believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, to the community, to their shared meals, and to their prayers."Acts 2:42 (CEB)

Christian fellowship is about drawing one another together for the purpose of building new relationships and strengthening old ones. It's about praying for each other and creating a family of faith that will provide accountability, support, love, and compassion.

From the very beginning, the church has been a community that eats together, prays together and cares for one another. At Laingsburg United Methodist Church, fellowship happens in the Fellowship Hall, around kitchen tables, over coffee downtown and anywhere two or three people gather in Christ's name.

Ways to Connect

Coffee After Worship

After Sunday worship, stay for coffee and conversation. It is the easiest way to meet people, and newcomers are always welcome.

Second Sunday Breakfast Club

On the second Sunday of each month, we gather in the Fellowship Hall at 9 am for a hearty breakfast before worship. It is free and open to all.

Game Nights and Watch Parties

Weekly game nights and occasional movie watch parties are listed with our current events on the home page. Bring a friend and a favorite snack.

Small Groups

Our prayer group, United Women in Faith and the quilters are wonderful places to build lasting friendships. See all of our adult ministries and small groups.

Youth and Families

The CORE Youth Group gives students in grades 6–12 a place to belong, while Messy Church brings all ages together around crafts, stories and a meal.

Why Fellowship Matters

Faith was never meant to be lived alone. Friends in faith celebrate with us in good times, sit with us in hard times and encourage us to keep growing. Many people tell us that the friendships they found at LUMC were what made it feel like home. If you would like to understand why church communities make such a difference, read why small groups matter.

Whether you are new to Laingsburg or have lived here all your life, there is a seat at the table for you. Start with our I'm New Here page, or send us a message through the contact page and we will help you find a group that fits.

Join Us This Sunday

Worship with us in person at 210 N. Crum Street in Laingsburg or online on Facebook every Sunday at 10:30 am. Everyone is welcome here.
