Our activities at LUMC focus on family, community and fun! There's something for everyone, young and old alike.
Family Ministries
- Annual summer church picnic
- Summer Worship in the Park
- Hay rides and bonfires
- Lugnuts games
- Halloween Trunk-or-Treat
United Methodist Youth
United Methodist Men's & Women's Groups
- Quilting (women)
- Third-Sunday breakfast meetings (men)
- Various community and world mission service projects
Monthly Chicken Dinners -- A 28-year tradition!
- Open to the public
- First Saturday of every month (if holiday, event held second Saturday)
- Homemade baked chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits, vegetable, pie and beverage (Did we mention everything's homemade?)
- 5-7 p.m.
Creative Circle
- Friday night scrapbooking, crafts, food and conversation; call office at 651-5531 for dates

- The Clothesline, a nonprofit resale clothing shop in downtown Laingsburg providing clothing to needy individuals and families of the area
- Looking Glass Community Services
- Home of Greater Laingsburg Food Bank

- Various water purification/well building initiatives
The United Methodist Youth of Laingsburg UMC also organize vacation
Bible schools in the summer, participate in a variety of Christ-focused
programs, support UNICEF through annual fundraising and help teach
Sunday School classes every week.
